Dr. Michael Do

Dr. Do has extensive experience in family eye care, including comprehensive eye care for adults and pediatric patients, contact lens fittings, and eye surgery co-management. His ophthalmological residency and previous work experience allow him to diagnose, treat and manage eye conditions expertly. Dr. Do is an avid fisherman and regularly trains in jiu-jitsu.


Kathy Simpson

Kathy started with Adairsville Eye Associates in October of 2007. She began working in the field of Ophthalmology in 1989. She is active in educating our patients in many eye health areas.


Gena Richardson

Gena started with Adairsville Eye Associates in 2004 and has remained active in educating our patients in many eye health areas as an optometric technician and contact lens fitter.


Amanda Blasengame

Amanda started with Adairsville Eye Associates in 2022 as our newest optician. She is certified by the American Board of Opticianry and has wealth of technical knowledge that comes with over 15+ years of experience. Amanda is well versed in all of the functions within the optical and has a passion for customer service. She can make the best recommendations for the type of lenses you need based on your prescription and visual needs.


Taylor Johnson

Taylor, our Patient Coordinator, joined our clinical family in 2022. She
has become well-versed in insurance, billing and coding. She loves to help
patients schedule appointments and navigate them according to their optical
needs. Helping patients figure out and understand what their vision
insurance is has become the focus in her career.


Kea Garnigan

Kea joined Adairsville Eye Associates in 2022 welcoming our patients to the
practice as a practice administrator and helping our patients with their
clinical exams as a paraoptometric technician and contact lens fitter. She
has mastered and become proficient within the world of contacts and loves
to guide patients on any of their contact lens needs!


Milan Robertson

Milan joined Adairsville Eye Associates in 2022 building a relationship
with our patients as a paraoptometric technician and contact lens fitter.
She is currently enrolled in film school and offers a cinematic perspective
to your optometric experience.


Dr. Gilbert M. James (Emeritus)

Dr. James received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and graduated from the Southern College of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Georgia Optometric Association.
